Sexy R+B singer KELIS insists men who like being rough with their women should become homosexuals instead.

The MILKSHAKE hitmaker, currently engaged to rapper NAS, believes that no matter how tough a man may seem in public, he should shed his iron exterior the minute he's in the presence of the special lady in his life.

She says, "It's not about being hard or not. If you're hard with your women, you need to go f*** a man.

"I'm a woman: I wanna feel like you care. I could be my myself. They need to go f*** somebody in jail.
