Former ATOMIC KITTEN singer KERRY KATONA has thanked the British public for their support after she was admitted to London rehabilitation clinic THE PRIORY suffering from depression.

The 24-year-old entered the clinic last month (DEC04), following her split from Irish pop star BRIAN McFADDEN in September (04).

She has since been discharged and is now intent on reinventing herself as an actress.

Katona gushes, "I know people have been worrying about me but I want you all to know that I'm doing fine and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone out there for all your support and lovely letters and cards.

"I have read every single one of them and I really think the public support is what has got me through this very tough time. I'm pleased to say I'm getting stronger all the time and I'll soon be back to my old happy self. I know I will. I'll do it for my two wonderful little girls."
