MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE - KACZMAREK HANDS OUT OLD CANDY

MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE star JANE KACZMAREK is so frugal she saves excess candy from Hallowe'en to give to trick-or-treating children the following year.

The actress, a mother of three, insists there's nothing wrong with the aged sweets she's been handing out to youngsters knocking on her door.

She says, "I'm practical. You get too much candy and I found a couple of years ago that you keep that candy and before you know it it's Hallowe'en again. You use that candy and just give it out again.

"It's delicious. It tastes exactly like the new stuff."
