SCARLETT JOHANSSON - JOHANSSON HAS A 'STARING PROBLEM'

SCARLETT JOHANSSON often makes people feel uncomfortable whenever she's travelling alone, because she has a fixation with staring at her fans.

The LOST IN TRANSLATION star admits she often cannot bear to pull her attention away from people as they go about their business - even when it makes them feel awkward.

She says, "I do have a bit of a staring problem... If somebody is staring at me, I can't help but notice how they're staring, because I guess I find myself staring back.

"When (I) go into a public place like an airport or something I do the same thing. It's part of the problem.

"You go into an airport, you see somebody recognisable and you kind of stare, a celebrity in a public place. But it's the way people stare, like how they try not to stare but they do and I've become so infatuated with how they're staring that it blows my cover completely."
