TOBIN BELL - JIGSAW FIEND TERRIFIES WAITRESS

Actor TOBIN BELL often has to reassure waitresses that he really isn't terrifying psychopath JIGSAW from the SAW horror movies as they run from him in restaurants. Bell has become a cult figure since donning the mask for the first Saw film, and he'll return later this year (06) in SAW III - even though his character was left badly beaten and cancer ridden at the end of SAW II. But he admits that playing such a terrifying character isn't always a good thing - especially when he's ordering food and the waitress recognises him. He says, "She finally said, 'Oh my God, you're him. I'm freaking out.' "She ran over to the other side of the bar. I told her, 'Come right here.' I shook her hand and said, 'It's just a movie, hon. Just a movie.'"
