JESSICA SIMPSON - JESSICA SIMPSON: 'I DON'T NEED A FLASHY TOUR'

JESSICA SIMPSON's new tour will focus entirely on her music - because she doesn't need to rely on dancers to carry her voice.

The sexy star of NEWLYWEDS: NICK AND JESSICA also takes a sneaky pop at chart rivals BRITNEY SPEARS, MADONNA and CHRISTINA AGUILERA - claiming they need to spice up their live shows to keep fans interested.

Simpson - who kicks off her REALITY tour in New Orleans, Louisiana this weekend (06JUN04) - says, "There's no choreography, no dancers, because I had that before, and personally, I'll let other people, like Madonna, and JANET JACKSON and Britney and Christina and all those girls, they can do that.

"I want to do something different. I want it to be more about my voice and being able to pull off the vocals that are very hard in my songs, and just really kind of sing my butt off."
