JANET JACKSON - JANET AND MICHAEL NO SHOW AT JACKO RESTAURANT

Troubled siblings MICHAEL and JANET JACKSON are keeping themselves out of the public eye - both stayed away from the opening of dad JOE's restaurant KATHERINE'S on Wednesday (4FEB04) night.

But brother JERMAINE was present at the Los Angeles bash, and believes Janet's breast-flashing incident at Sunday's (1FEB04) SUPER BOWL was "an accident" - despite her confession it was nothing of the sort.

He says, "It wasn't done intentionally. It looked like an accident. I'm going to believe that. The media have nothing else to talk about."

Janet shocked American audiences when one of her breasts was exposed during a raunchy half-time routine with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE as they danced to hit track ROCK YOUR BODY.

Michael is currently on bail awaiting a trial to face multiple charges of child molestation.
