Former CASH MONEY rapper TURK will release his third solo album next month (APR04) - despite being held in jail for attempted murder.
Turk, real name TAB VIRGIL JR, allegedly opened fire on Memphis, Tennessee police officers CHRIS HARRIS and JASON PAGENKOPF when they attempted to search a local apartment for heroin in late January (04).
Turk is currently being held on $750,000 (GBP416,600) bond for attempted murder of a Memphis sheriff's deputy, but still plans to press ahead with the release of his latest project PENITENTIARY CHANCES, on 27 April (04).
The album was recorded prior to his arrest.
