MICHAEL JACKSON's older brother has reportedly questioned the pop superstar's innocent verdict at his 2005 child molestation trial in a bombshell book proposal. The explosive manuscript, obtained by the New York Daily News, alleges JERMAINE JACKSON only stood by his brother in court because he feared the singer would kill himself without the display of familial support. The Daily News also reveals Jermaine slams his brother as a drug and drink abuser with "a thing for young children." The eight-page synopsis of LEGACY: SURVIVING THE BEST AND THE WORST was reportedly offered to publishers in the wake of the THRILLER hitmaker's 2003 arrest, and was drafted by STACY BROWN, the co-author of another book examining MICHAEL JACKSON: THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK. It remains unpublished. In it, Jermaine apparently lists a string of prescription drugs and alcoholic beverages his brother has allegedly abused and poses the question: "Does he really know what he does with these kids?" Jermaine adds, "I don't want to tell you my brother's innocent. I am not certain that he is. Regarding his previous defence of the singer he explains, "Michael couldn't survive one day in prison ... He'd commit suicide."
