Troubled singer MICHAEL JACKSON's family are reportedly terrified he'll be driven to suicide if he's found guilty of molesting a child.

The THRILLER singer faces a trial next year (JAN05) to take on charges he sexually abused a teenage boy at his Neverland Ranch home in Santa Barbara, California.

Close relatives are gathering on a weekly basis to discuss how best to keep Jackson's spirits high, reports Britain's THE SUN newspaper.

However, Jackson's brother JERMAINE is convinced the pop legend will lose his will to live if he's convicted of the accusations levelled against him.

A source quoting Jermaine tells The Sun, "Michael ain't going to jail, he's going to commit suicide first."

Jackson, 46, was arrested in November 2003 and denies the charges of committing a lewd act upon a child, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiring to commit child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.
