LATEST: MICHAEL JACKSON has surrendered to Santa Barbara County, California, police to face possible charges of child molestation.
The pop superstar flew home to California this morning (20NOV03) on a Gulf Stream jet from Las Vegas with new defence lawyer MARK GERRAGOS - and arrived in Santa Barbara at 11.48am local time.
Jackson, who has surrendered his passport to the authorities, is expected to post $3 million (GBP1.76 million) bail and then he'll be free to leave police custody.
The pop superstar's family reportedly boarded a second plane in Las Vegas to be with the singer as he fights another scandal.
An arrest warrant was issued for Jackson yesterday (19NOV03) after police launched a 15-hour investigation into new child molestation charges by raiding his NEVERLAND RANCH in Los Olivos, California, on Tuesday (18NOV03).
