HAWAII FIVE-O STORIES
HAWAII FIVE-O star JACK LORD has been honoured in the state he made famous in the hit cop show at one of his favourite walking sites.
A bronze likeness of the actor went on display to the public at Kahala Mall on Oahu on Saturday (19JUN04).
Lord's Hawaii Five-O co-star DOUG MOSSMAN says the site of the bust is perfect, "He'd stroll through the mall in shorts, aloha shirt and straw hat, smiling."
Lord, who played tough cop STEVE McGARRETT on the hit 1970s show, died in 1998, aged 77, at his Kahala home.
