Funnyman JACK BLACK regrets not getting into shape for his new film KING KONG - because he feels fat on the set.
The actor begged director PETER JACKSON to give him time to lose weight and tone up before filming started.
Black says, "I would've liked four months of preparation so I could get down to my fighting weight.
"I guess I should stop fighting it. Some people, when they get skinny, don't look so good."
