TENACIOUS D - JACK BLACK'S BLEEPING HEADACHE

TENACIOUS D funnyman JACK BLACK had an embarrassing experience when he kicked up a fuss about a bleeping sound in his hotel room - only to discover it was his new phone.

The spoof-band frontman was staying in a Boston, Massachusetts, hotel when the intermittent sound prevented him from falling asleep, so he called the front desk, convinced it was the room's alarm or smoke detector, demanding a workman come and investigate.

But Black adds, "I sat there in my robe trying not to make eye contact with this guy waiting for the bleep and eventually it went off in my hand. It was my new mobile."
