J.Lo Makes A Political Statement
Actress, dancer, singer and fashion icon JENNIFER LOPEZ is moving into a new arena - politics.
J.LO, engaged to staunch Democrat BEN AFFLECK, recorded a public service announcement in New York City on 12 December (03), promoting voter registration.
The clip is expected to debut during next year's (04) SUPER BOWL, and will run on MTV until the November presidential election.
Unlike her beau and GIGLI co-star - who was criticised in 2001 after it was discovered that, despite his political activism, he had not registered to vote - New York native Lopez reportedly registered via ROCK THE VOTE's website on the day she filmed the announcement.
