Jennifer Lopez - J.Lo Ducks Out Of Gunge Attack

Superstar JENNIFER LOPEZ disappointed young fans desperate to see her covered in gunge, by pulling out of a messy stunt at the NICKELODEON KIDS CHOICE AWARDS on Saturday night (4APR04).

The actress had agreed to be covered in green slime at the Los Angeles event - in a bid to improve her image, following bad press after her split from BEN AFFLECK.

But J.Lo reportedly changed her mind at the last minute, because she didn't want to ruin her outfit.

An event insider reveals, "The sparkly top and white combats she'd chosen for the event would have been ruined and she thought being a laughing stock after the year she'd had would be too much.

"It was touch and go that she'd even attend, but she was happy to in the end as long as the green slime was directed elsewhere.

"She's obviously still a glamorous diva at heart, maybe she should just embrace that."

Luckily for organisers, AUSTIN POWERS star MIKE MYERS was more than happy to take her place under the gunge.
