Rockers INTERPOL and fellow New Yorkers TV ON THE RADIO were the toast of the PLUG AWARDS last night (09FEB05) when they picked up Artist of The Year and Album of The Year honours respectively.
Other honoured at the indie music awards show were ARCADE FIRE (New Artist of The Year) JEAN GRAE (corr) (Female Artist of The Year) and TOM WAITS (Male Artist of The Year).
The event, held at New York's Webster Hall, featured performances by TED LEO and SUFJAN (corr) STEVENS.
