LATEST: Pop hunk ENRIQUE IGLESIAS has laughed off reports he has married tennis star girlfriend ANNA KOURNIKOVA.

The beautiful couple caused a media stir last month (MAY03), when sources claimed the pair were tying the knot in a secret ceremony in the Dominican Republic.

The story turned out to be a hoax - and Spanish crooner Enrique insists he'd rather be an older groom.

Revealing he and Russian beauty Kournikova, 21, are "just practicing" married life, the 28-year-old ESCAPE singer says, "I am not planning on getting married yet. I think I will when I am 35 or 40, but I could not say that I will not get married now for certain."

Meanwhile, Iglesias confesses fame has made it hard for him to find a partner he could truly trust.

He adds, "It is hard to trust people because there are more barriers between you and other people. You are more guarded, a bit more careful about your life."
