AMERICAN IDOL - IDOL KELLY UPSET ABOUT MISSING ALBUMS

Original AMERICAN IDOL winner KELLY CLARKSON was left distraught on Monday night (29NOV04) when she couldn't find a copy of her newly-released second album in stores.

The singer and her best pals trekked around after midnight trying to find stores where they could buy Clarkson's new album BREAKAWAY - but they were out of luck.

The LOW star explains, "I went everywhere looking for my CD... Three places were like closed and then we got into Walmart and they didn't even have it on the shelves - no display, no nothing.

"Apparently I don't have a CD coming out. I was like 'Ooow.' It's sad. Normally, they put the albums out after midnight."

Fortunately first day sales were very encouraging, and the singer is expected to achieve a high entry in next week's (beg06DEC04) charts.
