RACHEL HUNTER - HUNTER STILL AILING

LATEST: Antipodean beauty RACHEL HUNTER is struggling to maintain her appetite after falling ill with a mystery illness earlier this month (11DEC05).

ROD STEWART's ex-wife was rushed to a London hospital on 11 December (05) after doubling up with stomach pains during rehearsals for BBC TV talent show STRICTLY COME DANCING.

After a series of tests, Hunter admits she is feeling slightly better, but finds it difficult to eat.

She says, "I had intense stomach cramps and was worried something serious was wrong. The doctors did a lot of tests where they knock you out and shove a camera down your throat so they could see what was going on inside.

"I'm just starting to get better now. I still can't really keep much down. I'm finding it a struggle to eat."
