Handsome COLD MOUNTAIN star CHARLIE HUNNAM is still pining over ex-girlfriend, stunning model SOPHIE DAHL.

The British actor, 23, enjoyed a brief fling with the curvy blonde last year (03) just before he began filming new CHARLES DICKENS adaptation NICHOLAS NICKLEBY, but found that their hectic schedules meant that their relationship was snuffled out before it had a chance to blossom - something he still regrets.

He explains, "It was a shame, Sophie and me. We really liked each other. But I don't go out when I work and one free night isn't enough to build a relationship on, so it ended. And she was obviously travelling and working a lot too."
