FELICITY HUFFMAN was amazed by the camaraderie on the set of her new movie TRANSAMERICA, because the limited budget meant cast and crew were subjected to constant discomfort.

The DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star, 43, plays a man determined to surgically become a woman in the new movie, but Huffman insists it was a labour of love for everybody involved.

She says, "We were staying in Best Western hotels and getting dressed in rat-infested buildings in the middle of nowhere, and we were happy to be there.

"There's a difference between doing something for money - which I certainly try to do - and something like this, where you know there's no money and you work 24/7."
