The DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star, who is married to actor WILLIAM H MACY, plays STANLEY 'BREE' OSBOURNE - a man determined to surgically become a woman before suddenly discovering he has fathered a son.

And while movement and voice coaching helped authenticate her performance, Huffman was convinced it wouldn't work without installing a vital organ replica.
