Notorious New York City radio station Hot 97 is facing eviction from its SoHo offices, after another shooting was linked to the rap broadcaster. Rapper GRAVY - real name JAMAL WOLLARD - was grazed by a bullet when he arrived to give an interview on Wednesday (26APR06), causing bystanders to scatter when a group of unidentified men opened fire. STUART GRABOIS, who is a member of the New York City District Council of Carpenters, which owns the Hot 97 building, tells the New York Daily News, "We've directed our attorneys to begin the eviction process. "We're concerned about the safety of the public and our other tenants." Hot 97 was also the scene of the shoot-out between members of 50 CENT and THE GAME's entourages last February (05), which left one man injured. And LIL' KIM is currently serving a jail term for lying to a grand jury over a 2001 shooting outside the Hudson Street building. Hot 97 presenter MISS JONES is frustrated by the threat to her livelihood, and hits out at rappers for bringing their feuds with them to the radio station. She told listeners, "We're tired of you bringing your beef to our building. This is some stupid kind of beef among nobodies."
