OSCAR-winning actor SIR ANTHONY HOPKINS amazed students at a Las Vegas graduation ceremony by confessing to his appalling behaviour at school.
The HANNIBAL star told students graduating from THE MEADOWS SCHOOL on Saturday (29MAY04) about his disastrous school career, but urged the graduates to "be bold, because dreams do come true".
Hopkins recounted, "I was so bad at school as a child, that my mother took me to a specialist who said: 'There is nothing wrong with him - he's just bored. He has an artistic appetite.'
"Last week the president of the United States said he was a C student. I was a D student, maybe a Z student."
