HOLLY VALANCE - HOLLY VALANCE SLAMS NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL

Australian popstar HOLLY VALANCE hates the annual NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL - as it passes directly by her London flat and she thinks it's a "waste of time".

The KISS KISS singer recently discovered that her West London abode lies directly above a brothel, and now she can't bear it that Europe's biggest street party passes through it.

She moans, "It's a waste of time - a bunch of people doing nothing but vomiting on my front lawn.

"I barricaded myself in the flat until it was over. I can't understand what people were entertained by."

The August festival, which has its roots in Caribbean culture, is widely known as a musical celebration and reflection of London's multicultural make-up. Almost 600,000 revellers came to this year's (03) event.
