Pop beauty HOLLY VALANCE has been ordered to pay $240,000 (GBP150,000) to the manager she fired when her career took off.

The KISS KISS singer must pay the sum to SCOTT MICHAELSON after he convinced a court in their native Australia last month (OCT03) he was unfairly dismissed in January 2002.

JUDGE CLIFFORD EINSTEIN told the NEW SOUTH WALES SUPREME COURT Valance had shown a "calculated disregard" for Michaelson, who discovered her aged 15.

Michaelson's lawyer says, "I hope I have been able to represent in some way the many managers that have been in a similar position to me but have not had the means to proceed to court."
