HOLLY VALANCE - HOLLY HATES KYLIE COMPARISONS

HOLLY VALANCE is sick of being compared to her pop rival KYLIE MINOGUE just because they're both from Australia.

The two stars both found chart fame in Britain after appearing on the same Aussie TV soap, NEIGHBOURS - but Holly insists the similarities end there.

She fumes, "Actually we are very different. It annoys me that there are actually barely any similarities.

"Yes, we're both Australian. Yes we both did Neighbours but so did a lot of people - such as NATALIE IMBRUGLIA.

"English people seem to be obsessed with comparisons. It's always BLUR or OASIS, ROBBIE (WILLIAMS) or so and so.

"They can never be happy with someone just doing their own thing.

"But I would never take offence at being in the same sentence as her."
