PARIS HILTON - HILTON TRADEMARKS HER NAME

Hotel heiress PARIS HILTON has trademarked her name to ensure nobody gets the chance to cash in on her success.

The blonde beauty, who unintentionally became a hit on the porn circuit when a sex tape she made with ex-boyfriend RICK SALOMON surfaced on the internet, has her reality show THE SIMPLE LIFE, a GUESS modelling contract and upcoming movies to thank for her star status - and she's determined to take control of her image.

Hilton is now seeking to expand her empire by legally trademarking her name and an original logo of a tiara bearing the letter P for Paris. She filed the legal documents in July (04).

According to the documents, she seeks the exclusive legal rights to use her name on a wide variety of goods and services, ranging from clothing to footwear, paper goods, rubber stamps, pre-paid calling cards, cosmetics and household or kitchen utensils and containers.
