HEPBURN'S HOUSE SOLD

Late screen legend KATHARINE HEPBURN's Manhattan house has sold for a reported $3.9 million (GBP2.16 million).

The BRINGING UP BABY actress - who died aged 96 last June (03) - bought the New York property in 1937 and it was put on the market last September (03) for $4.95 million (GBP2.75 million).

Website PAGESIX.COM says the home, which boasts four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, was purchased by a Mexican industrialist who is such a big fan of Hepburn's he purchased without a viewing.
