HUGH HEFNER - HEFNER TURNS PLAYBOY MANSION INTO A SAFARI PARK

Playboy boss HUGH HEFNER turned his famous Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, mansion into a safari park on Saturday (08OCT05) to raise funds for animal charities.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN was on hand for the 'Safari Brunch', where pythons, lions and endangered species roamed the sprawling grounds of the Playboy Mansion.

Cash raised by the fundraiser will go to California's Wildlike WayStation in the Los Angeles National Forest and to shelters housing animals hurt in the recent Hurricane Katrina devastation on America's Gulf Coast.
