ETHAN HAWKE - HAWKE SPENDS QUALITY TIME WITH SON - IN THE BATHROOM

Hollywood actor ETHAN HAWKE has taken to spending time with his two-year-old ROAN in a bizarre location - their bathroom.

Hawke admits he's been recently spending a lot of time in the bathroom with his youngest offspring - also known as LEVON - to feed his fascination with the room.

He says, "My son likes to go to the bathroom just to hang out in there. He likes to sit in there and squeeze all the soap out of the bottle and press the hot water and cold water.

"At first I resisted and now I've just given into it 'cause destroying the lavatory's better than having him cry on my lap for five hours! So I literally spent about three hours in there the other day. It's exciting, making faces in the mirror. It's amazing how much time you can pass."

But TRAINING DAY star Hawke does have one problem - Roan doesn't like to sleep and enjoys being violent.

He adds, "He speaks a few words and one of his sentences is, 'Me no nap!' He's just getting kinda ferocious and intense - he's a boy. My girl was so easy. All she wanted to do was watercolour, hang out and talk to me about butterflies

"With my son, it's a cliche, but he wants to take a bat to your head. He reminds me so much of the kid in the FLINTSTONES, BAM BAM. Anything that involves hitting, he's into."
