DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - HATCHER 'STILL SINGLE' DESPITE SEACREST SMOOCH

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star TERI HATCHER insists she is still single, despite her recent public kissing session with AMERICAN IDOL host RYAN SEACREST. The single mother hit the headlines last week (ends31MAR06) when American magazine Us Weekly published photos of the couple locking lips on a Malibu, California, beach. Speaking on US TV show Access Hollywood, Hatcher says, "Well, I guess what's caught on film is caught on film, and it would be hard for me to stand here and say that it wasn't, you know me, I'm not a liar, and I wouldn't do that. "I'm not (attached). Just say it one more time in case! "Everyone clearly knows about my pathetic, single, dating life, right? You know what I think, obviously there's been some stuff going on and I think my life for good or bad is similar to a reality show." Despite Hatcher's insistence she's still looking for love, Seacrest spoke about the actress on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO last Thursday (30MAR06), declaring, "She's fantastic, she's great. I think she's a beautiful woman, she's a great dresser."
