DAVID HASSELHOFF has volunteered to appear on the next series of British reality TV show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER to up the "poor" standard of previous American contestants. The former BAYWATCH hunk insists he'd be far more entertaining than DENNIS RODMAN, TRACI BINGHAM, BRIGITTE NIELSEN and JACKIE STALLONE - and he'd jump at the chance of some shameless publicity. He says, "The standard of US guests on the show so far has been poor. "I am more than willing to appear on the programme to use it as a vehicle to spout my moral beliefs and promote my book. "But the show will have to get a bigger pool."
