BAYWATCH - HASSELHOFF'S HEALING POWERS

Former BAYWATCH star DAVID HASSELHOFF has hailed himself as a MOTHER TERESA-style role model. The actor/singer has revealed a "spiritual calling" to change people's lives for the better with the help of his KNIGHT RIDER alter ego, MICHAEL KNIGHT. Hasselhoff boasts, "I can go into any hospital in any country and make a kid smile and forget about their pain for a couple of seconds. "How fantastic is that? I just walk in. All the kids go, 'Aah, Michael Knight!' and start coming at me with their IVs." Hasselhoff is currently working on a film adaptation of the 1980s television hit, which is due for release later this year (06).
