Pop singer DAVID HASSELHOFF has been left fuming after his efforts to unite East and West Germany were ignored by a poignant museum exhibition.
The former BAYWATCH star is a musical superstar in the European nation and he cites his rendition of track LOOKING FOR FREEDOM at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate in 1989 as a pivotal moment in the effort to bring down the Berlin Wall.
So when he discovered that a photograph of his performance is absent from the museum at the city's CHECK-POINT CHARLIE, Hasselhoff was unable to hide his disappoint.
He says, "I find it a bit sad that there is no photo of me hanging on the walls in the Berlin Museum at Check-Point Charlie.
"After my appearance I hacked away at pieces of the wall that had the black, red and yellow colours of the German flag on it. I kept the big piece for myself and gave the smaller pieces to colleagues at Baywatch."
