BAYWATCH - HASSELHOFF TO PLAY PANTO PIRATE

Former BAYWATCH star DAVID HASSELHOFF will spend Christmas (DEC06) in Britain playing CAPTAIN HOOK in a London theatre production of PETER PAN. The actor/singer, who starred in the West End production of CHICAGO last year (05), will play the arch-nemesis of 'the boy who never grew up' in the pantomime at the New Wimbledon Theatre. A theatre source says, "David has a real affinity with the British public and loves visiting the UK. He was keen to work in theatre over here to entertain his legions of Baywatch fans and is looking forward to panto season and Christmas in the UK." A spokesperson for pantomine producer First Family Entertainment enthuses, "We are absolutely delighted that David Hasselhoff will be starring in Peter Pan."
