DAVID HASSELHOFF - HASSELHOFF PLANS ASSAULT ON UK CHARTS

American actor DAVID HASSELHOFF has his eye on the top of the British singles chart after his success on the London stage.

The BAYWATCH icon recently performed in CHICAGO on the UK the capital's West End stage to sell out audiences, and he now hopes his UK fan base will help his music achieve similar success when he releases his new single.

He gushes, "I didn't realise how many fans I had in the UK. I'm sure they will embrace the music with open arms. It is my dream to land a UK number one."

The 52-year-old's musical musings have received the most popularity in Germany, where he was asked to perform a special concert after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
