BAYWATCH - HASSELHOFF NOT 'READY FOR ACTION' DOWN UNDER

BAYWATCH star DAVID HASSELHOFF has been forced to postpone his Australian tour after landing a major part in a new TV project.

The actor/singer's Ready For Action tour was proving to be a big draw for music fans in Sydney and Melbourne, but now a string of shows scheduled for February (06) have been put back.

On his official tour website, Hasselhoff insists he will visit Australia and honour dates later this month (FEB06), telling fans, "Thank you for your understanding and patience and we look forward to seeing you at the rescheduled performances."

Meanwhile, Hasselhoff is staying tight-lipped about his new TV project, explaining only that it has been "in discussion for some months" but "the filming schedule has only recently been confirmed".

The TV project is good news for Hasselhoff, who is currently in the middle of a messy divorce battle with his wife PAMELA.
