Actor DAVID HASSELHOFF claims his legendary TV show BAYWATCH is helping the women's movement in Iran. Hasselhoff believes the 1990s hit, which made stars of busty blondes PAMELA ANDERSON and CARMEN ELECTRA, is providing feisty female role models to women in the Middle East. He enthuses, "They're sitting there oppressed. They can't vote, can't do anything! "Then they go, 'This is the world! Why can't I go out there.' They pull back their burkas and they've got blonde hair."
