DAVID HASSELHOFF is eyeing a part in a British crime drama in a bid to ditch his cheesy Hollywood image.
The former BAYWATCH star is particularly enchanted with the AGATHA CHRISTIE's classic murder mystery series MISS MARPLE - which features a crime-busting pensioner in 1920s England.
He says, "I want to do a good British drama. I am an actor after all."
