MICHAEL BAY - HAS SUPERMAN GONE TO BAY?

The Hollywood rumour mill has gone into overdrive after PEARL HARBOR director MICHAEL BAY flashed a new SUPERMAN logo onto his official website over the weekend (03JUL04).

CHARLIE'S ANGELS director McG has signed on to take charge of the latest Superman movie, but now it seems that Bay has taken over.

According to trade paper HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, rumours have been circulating that there are problems between studio bosses and McG over the location of the shoot.

But a WARNER BROTHERS spokesman insists the studio is still "very much in business" with McG and rumours about Bay's involvement were "absolutely not true".
