JOSH HARTNETT - HARTNETT FORCED TO EAT MEAT

Actor JOSH HARTNETT was forced to abandon his vegetarian diet, after a doctor ordered him to eat meat while undergoing a brutal training regime during filming in Bulgaria. The actor was getting into shape to play an ex-boxer in the film BLACK DAHLIA and became gaunt from the lack proper food to maintain his vegetarian lifestyle. He explains, "It's all meat, all the time, over there. "I was trying for awhile, but I would work 12 hours and then box for four hours every night. "I was gaunt. The doctor told me, 'Eat meat." And that was it."
