HAPPY MONDAYS - HAPPY MONDAY BEZ TO BE REALITY TV STAR

HAPPY MONDAYS dancer BEZ will front a new reality television show, set to be Britain's answer to THE OSBOURNES.

The STEP ON star, real name MARK BERRY, shot to fame in the late 80s following a series of legendary drug-fuelled live appearances with the Happy Mondays - who changed the face of the British music scene with their distinctive laid back sound and oddball lyrics.

He returned to TV screens this month (JAN05) in reality show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER, which he won thanks to a huge public following - and now British TV network CHANNEL 4 want to give him his own show, to replace The Osbournes when its final series comes to a close.

Bez's neighbour and HAPPY MONDAYS frontman SHAUN RYDER could also appear in the show.
