STAR WARS icon MARK HAMILL has slammed the sequels of the classic sci-fi trilogy for being "too serious".

The 53-year-old, who played LUKE SKYWALKER in the first three Star Wars movies, is furious the new series has turned the saga into a lesson in Christian morals.

He complains, "To me, they are just too serious. So orderly and almost religious. Like The Ten Commandments,"
