Movie beauty GWYNETH PALTROW admits she is finding it difficult coping with the loss of her beloved father.

The SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE star - girlfriend of COLDPLAY singer CHRIS MARTIN - desperately misses her director dad BRUCE PALTROW since his sudden death last October (02).

In response to the tragedy, Gwyneth, 30, took time off from her movie career to recuperate and dropped roles in I HEART HUCKABEE and HAPPY ENDINGS.

She says, "I don't want to hear, 'Oh, they're always with you.' No, they're not! He's dead, and I'm suffering.

"Before this happened, I was really at a place in my life where I thought, 'I've figured it out'. Then it was like someone stomped me in the stomach.

"I needed to talk to my therapist and practice yoga. I hadn't dealt with it, and I felt like it was killing me. I was really scared."

But humorous Gwyneth adds, "When I'm in the airport, I'm in the self-help section with my sweatshirt over my head. Are there any grief books I haven't read?"
