Stunning actress GWYNETH PALTROW spent $14,000 (GBP10,000) hiring a helicopter to see lover CHRIS MARTIN in action with COLDPLAY.
The beauty, 30, was in London filming WORLD OF TOMORROW with gorgeous actor JUDE LAW, while Chris was in Manchester playing a gig, and missed him so much she decided to surprise him.
And no doubt Chris was surprised when the blonde flew in specially in the chopper - which then took her back to London in time for filming the next day.
A pal says, "She told us she hated being away from him."
