GWYNETH PALTROW - GWYNETH GOES SHOPPING MAD IN LONDON

Actress GWYNETH PALTROW gave her credit card a battering in London on Monday (9SEP03) after going on a designer clothes shopping spree.

The 30-year-old SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE star was seen smiling broadly as she left the flat she shares with rocker lover CHRIS MARTIN and headed for the city's posh shopping Mecca Sloane Square.

Once there, Gwyneth amazed onlookers by purchasing clothes from CHANEL, PRADA and MARNI stores and emerged overloaded with bags.

One says, "Gwyneth was spending up a storm - she came out of each store with several bags of clothes. But for someone who obviously adores designer clothes, she did look scruffy."
