Hungarian fans of comeback rockers GUNS 'N ROSES are smarting after becoming the target of an elaborate confidence trick.

Con men stuck up posters claiming the WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE stars, currently on the comeback trail after a rocky recent history, were playing a special one off gig in a disused Budapest airport on 26 September (03).

However, after the tricksters had sold nearly 3,000 at a cost of $45 (GBP28) each, they disappeared, taking their haul of nearly $100,000 (GBP62,500) with them.
