Punks GREEN DAY are back on top of the US album charts four months after debuting their new album AMERICAN IDIOT at number one.

The trio scored their first number one album back in September (04) and spent a week on top then. American Idiot hasn't left the top 10 since then.

American Idiot replaces EMINEM's ENCORE at the top.
